Bradley Cooper Happy Working with Jennifer Lawrence in Movie Serena, Movie Plot, Cast and Review Updates
Fans have already seen the two popular faces in movies "Silver Linings Playbook" and "American Hustle. Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence are pairing up again for a third movie, and Cooper is surely happy that he and Jennifer Lawrence are working together for the new film. The duo are about to hit the movie screen in "Serena" on October 24 in the UK.
Bradley expressed in an interview, "I've sort of hit the jackpot with being able to work with Jennifer Lawrence. When I knew she was going to play this character, I was fully aware it was going to be comic. Once she would breathe life into this character, it would become much more dimensional. It could be very easy to portray her as a stock character and there's just not one moment where you don't believe she's a human being. She's a wonderful, wonderful actress".
Despite the recent reviews on the movie and performance, Bradley's praise towards the actress is refreshingly motivating. You might want to re-think and watch the movie regardless of the criticisms.
"Her biggest asset is probably her level of relaxation when she acts, and because of that, it's a very thrilling thing to be involved with as the partner of the scene", Cooper said.
The upcoming drama movie is based on Ron Rash's novel "Serena" in 2008, and is about a couple who runs a timber business in North Carolina around the 1930s. Set in the era of Depression, the film features the couple struggling to keep their timber business together. Life for the two gets complicated when Serena discovers that George has a secret child, while George finds out that his wife is unable to conceive children.
The movie cast includes Sam Reid (as Vaughn), Rhys Ifans (as Galloway), Toby Jones (as Sheriff McDowell) and Sean Harris (as Campbell)
Serena is set to release on October 24 in the UK, while the movie's release date for the US is in early 2015.
