Nexus 9 Release Date 2014 Edition: Now Available for Preorders
HTC-manufactured Nexus 9 is the new offering from Google trying to work its ways around the giants of smartphone and tablet market. Google unveiled this tablet through a blog post along with Nexus 6 and Android Lollipop without providing a release date for now.
However, Google is accepting preorders on Nexus 9 through Google Play Store, Best Buy, Amazon, Game Stop, and several other partners all across the world. For now, this tablet is planned to be introduced in just 29 countries, but Google will definitely consider the other markets in the coming months. Nevertheless, the question is when US customers can finally get their hands on this amazing tablet. According to Expert Reviews, release date for both Nexus 9 and 6 should not be more than two weeks from preorder date. Fans can expect the tablet in market from November 3 at a base price of $399, which is almost half of what you will have to pay for Nexus 6.
Reportedly, Nexus 9 2014 edition is being endorsed as the next big things in tablet market way ahead of iPad Air and Samsung Galaxy Tabs for a number of reasons. Launched in 16 GB and 32 GB models, this device runs on 64-bit NVIDIA Tegra K1 processor 2.3 GHz along with 192-core Kepler GPU. At just below 9-inch, it comes with soft grip back surface for the ease of carrying and handling. HTC has also fitted the tablet with Boom Sound speakers known to provide powerful yet clear sound in spite of their size. Interestingly, Google says that they have designed this hybrid tablet for both fun and play. Due to its generous screen size, users can connect the tablet with a wireless keyboard and stand for that easy working experience anywhere, anytime. With Android 5.0, the sales for this model are expected to lift off soon, especially with the upcoming holiday season. The new Nexus 9 is available in white, black, and sand colors.
Unfortunately, Google has released only a WiFi model for now, but 'The Verge' suggests that they will soon come up with a LTE 2014 edition model too, which will cost around $599.
