'Supernatural Season 10' Episode 3 Preview and Spoilers: Demon Dean Face-off with Sam in 'Soul Survivor'; Crowley, Castiel Help Get Rid of Mark of Cain
The CW series packed with action, fantasy, adventure, and drama will have another thrilling installment on its newest season's third episode. After being haunted and blamed for killing a man, the demon version of Dean is now out and things will get complicated as ever, Christian Today reported.
"Supernatural Season 10" episode 3 will be the premiere of the demon Dean after the "ordinary'" Dean is threatened by Cole, who wanted to seek revenge after Dean killed Cole's father. It is still unknown if the soul of the ordinary Dean is still in his body, but it is quite certain that the demon Dean will really kill his brother Sam.
"Dean's wicked behavior does more than just complicate and jeopardize the Winchester brothers' relationship, which is really a bad thing." Sam and demon Dean will then have a grueling battle as the demon is determined to kill Sam. Jared Padalecki's character, on the other hand, is also resolute in getting rid of the demon inside his brother.
The demon "who-chases-after-beloved-brother" Dean is caused by the "Mark of Cain." In Supernatural's previous episode, Crowley offered Dean a deal that can slake the Mark, as Hypable reported. The deal suggested by Crowley involves a killing for a demon deal.
But instead of killing the demon, Dean murdered the client. Because of this, Crowley and Dean cancelled their partnership and Mark Sheppard's character "sold Dean out to Sam in exchange for the First Blade." Sam was beaten by demon Dean but after he was left alive, Sam managed to spray holy water, handcuff and bring Dean back to the bunker.
Cartermatt cited that the painful scene between the brothers will make "Supernatural Season 10" episode 3 a thrilling but dramatic episode. The once good relationship between Sam and Dean was now at its edge of crumbling down, as Sam discovered that Dean is a demon as well.
He will then try to save his original brother's soul while the demon Dean continuously snaps at him and blame him for their mother's death and insult their father over and over again. Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles have been playing brothers in "Supernatural" since its first season, thus their acting with this confrontation and face-off scene is undoubtedly at its best.
Aside from its effect to Sam, demon Dean's action will also pose a threat to Crowley who has been maintaining a balance between heaven, hell and earth. He has a new business in hell that he is really fond off thus he will seek a help from an angel who is Castiel, played by Misha Collins.
In "Supernatural Season 10" episode 3, Castiel and Crowley will help get rid of Dean's demon but it appears in the video that this will be to no avail.
Aside from the action packed episode, "Supernatural Season 10" episode 3 will also be directed by Dean himself, Jensen Ackles. This just makes this episode a must watch.
Catch "Supernatural Season 10" episode 3, titled "Soul Survivor," tomorrow night, Oct. 21, on the CW.
