Taylor Swift New Interview on New Album '1989' and Calls Critics 'Sexist', Watch Full Interview Here (VIDEO)
Taylor Swift released her second single "Out of the Woods" and there has been wide speculation that this song is about One Direction's Harry Styles.
"This was a relationship where I was kind of, living day to day, wondering where it was going, if it was going to go anywhere, if it was going to end the next day," the 24-year-old entertainer said to GMA of the relationship surrounding the song. "It was a relationship where you, kind of, never feel like you're standing on solid ground."
The song "stresses that even if a relationship is breakable and fragile and full of anxiety, it doesn't mean that it isn't worthwhile, exciting, beautiful, and all the things that we look for."
2Day FM Sydney shared a recent interview where Swift speaks out against critics of her music and lyrics, calling them 'sexist'. "Frankly, I think that's a very sexist angle to take," she says. "No one says that about Ed Sheeran. No one says that about Bruno Mars. They're all writing songs about their exes, their current girlfriends, their love life and no one raises a red flag there." "Out of the Woods" was co-written and produced by FUN guitarist Jack Antonoff.

Taylor shared that the reason for the title was that it is her birth date (December 13, 1989) but also that she likes to have two years in between albums to see her growth in her Yahoo live interview with fans. She shared that her new album would be her first full on pop album and inspired from the music of the 80's that she has been listening to.
