'Criminal Minds' Season 10, Episode 4 Spoilers, Latest News, Updates: "The Itch" with the BAU team.
There is no stopping the Unknown Subjects or Unsubs in "Criminal Minds" season 10. In their fourth episode "The Itch", the Behavioral Analyst Unit or BAU of the FBI would be up against a bad guy with a rare skin affliction.
Discovering a body full of scratches, the Atlanta police requested the BAU team to investigate this bizarre case. The BAU team is composed of Spencer Reid ( Matthey Gray Gubler), Aaron Hotchner (Thomas Gibson) , Penelope Cruz (Kirsten Vangsness) Derek Morgan (Shemar Moore) , Jennifer JJ Jareau (AJ Cook) and the latest addition to the group Kate Callahan (Jennifer Love Hewitt). The team not only found out that the Unsub involved in the crime has an insane kind of skin disorder, but that he already had several victims.
Meanwhile, viewers got a glimpse of the personal life of Callahan and other agents in the last episode. Looking detached in the plane crash incident, the BAU team wondered about Callahan's reaction. Eventually, they found out about the plane crash that killed her sister and brother-in-law. Breathcast reports that the characters died tragically in the 9/11 terrorist plane attack at the Pentagon. Callahan adopted their daughter Meg.
Upon learning about the incident in the life of Callahan, Reid revealed his own demons. He admitted that watching his girlfriend getting killed changed his life over. He also mentioned that his mother is suffering from schizophrenia and scared that he might also have the same mental disorder.
According to Latinpost, Hewitt took the place of Jeanne Trippletorn who played Agent Blake in season nine. The season finale revealed that Blake decided to leave the BAU team after a nightmarish experience involving her close friend Reid. He almost died due to gunshot trauma.
Season 10 will also be a special season for Thomas Gibson a.k.a. Hotchner. According to Wikipedia, the director of the fifth episode of season 10 will be Gibson himself. The episode title is "Boxed In".
In the meantime, Criminal Minds season 10 fourth episode "The Itch" airs on October 22, 2014. Breen Frazier wrote the episode screenplay under the directorship of Larry Teng.
Criminal Minds is under CBS network.
