'One more One'- HTC One mini 2 hits the market!
HTC has been introducing solid, powerful gadgets in the market. It aims in serving every class of consumers. The HTC One made not much, but quite a decent progress in the market. Later, HTC One mini was introduced during August 2013, priced at approximately $340.
The HTC One mini was based on the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean platform, offering an internal storage of 16GB , coupled with a 1GB RAM. However, this phone did not make room for expansion of memory, as it did not have a memory card slot.
Later, the company came up with its HTC One Mini 2 during May, 2014. This phone is considered to be an overhauled version of the HTC One Mini.
The physical weight of the phone is approximately around 137g, having a dimension of 137.4×65×10.6mm, with a 4.5 inches multi-touch screen.
This phone offers an internal storage of 16GB, expandable up-to 128GB, which was not present in the earlier version. It is powered by a 1GB RAM and makes room for only nano-sim.
It offers a 13MP, autofocus primary camera, and a 5MP secondary camera which is quite decent. The phone is powered by a non-removable LI-Po 2110 mAh battery. According to GSMArena, the stand-by capacity is around 556 hours, while the talk-time is estimated to be up-to 16 hours. The new HTC One Mini 2 is built with proximity sensor, accelerometer, and ambient light sensor. The high resolution camera allows the users to capture crisp and clear images.
The power button of the HTC One Mini 2 is on the left, while on the One M8, the power button is located on the right side.
A HTC spokesperson stated that, "Based on positive feed-back from the announcement, the product team has decided to keep the silver volume button", TechRadar reported.
The BlinkFeed news aggregator sits to the left of the home screen. It is basically similar to that of Flip-board.
Looking at the specifications of this phone, priced at approximately $550, it is quite an ideal choice to make. Above all, the new HTC One mini 2 has brought a new dimension for the HTC One series.
