Xbox One: Integration of Live TV and Twitter
According to The Verge, Microsoft has promised its users a Twitter integration for its popular Xbox One back in the month of June. The company plans to deliver it in November. The Xbox One update of Microsoft adds TV features, which highlight the trending alongside the tweets from the Twitter users who are discussing various topics.
Twitter integration on Microsoft's Xbox One does not stop at just TV features. Microsoft has also added other features like the ability to link your account on Xbox One with Twitter to share the game DVR clips directly to your followers. It is not an automatic process, which will spam the followers, but it is another share option for the game clips after they have been recorded. Several TV improvements include favorite and recent channels in MiniGuide and a new section on the dashboarad's home screen.
Apart from the entertainment as well as Twitter features, Microsoft also add custom backgrounds. Phil Spencer, Xbox chief, has confirmed this feature will come soon in the recent podcast and it is said to be due to debut this upcoming update. Achievements may be set as your backgrounds and there will be also an update to Media Player app, which lets you set image as a background on a scheduled time or date.
iDigital Times also emphasized the Live TV Integration. If your Xbox One connected to the cable hook-up, you will acquire all interesting features and the biggest one is the Live TV Trending. Through integrating with Twitter, the OneGuide app will highlight the shows on the TV, which majority of individuals are watching and talking. You will also have the chance to swap to see which users of Xbox One are watching.
Tech Times reported that some notable improvements include the Internet Explorer app of Xbox One, which can be snapped to show when the new addition to the featured websites has been made and the Preview dashboard app that lets the user on the preview program to gain points for providing feedback and shows how it stacks up against the friends on the leaderboard.
