Taylor Swift New Interview about New Album '1989' and How She Kept the Tracks Secret on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Watch Here (VIDEO)
Taylor Swift stopped by "Jimmy Kimmel Live" on Thursday night to promote her new album 1989 which releases next week. She spoke on the lengths she went to keep her new tracks secret by keeping them only on her phone and only letting people to listen to them from there. You can check out the interview clip above.
Fans can purchase Swift's single "Out of the Woods" on iTunes by clicking here. Swift's full album 1989 is scheduled for release on October 27. Swift's first single "Shake It Off" immediately went to No.1 on the Billboard 100.
Taylor shared that the reason for the title was that it is her birth date (December 13, 1989) but also that she likes to have two years in between albums to see her growth in her Yahoo live interview with fans. She shared that her new album would be her first full on pop album and inspired from the music of the 80's that she has been listening to.
Taylor Swift will also be joining "The Voice" Season 7 on NBC next week as the key advisor for this season's 'knockout rounds'. Swift tweeted pictures of herself last month with the judges writing, "Way excited about being a 'key advisor' on @NBCTheVoice. Here are some pics of me and the coaches that I key advised."
Swift will help all four teams as the 'key advisor' in the same role that Coldplay singer Chris Martin did last year in Season 6.
"The Voice" season has been a ratings hit with new coaches Gwen Stefani and Pharrell Williams, along with Adam Levine and Blake Shelton.
You can tune in to all of the action of Season 7 of "The Voice" on Monday and Tuesday nights at 8/7c on NBC.
