When talking about his possible come back/cameo in the sitcom, he told TV Guide Magazine "I've reached out and they've reached back, we're trying to figure out what makes the most sense." However, Warner Bros. Studios Television producers clarified that Sheen won't be a part of the season's episodes.
Well, if Charlie Harper ever does come back, that would be one of the biggest surprises of the show then.
