Justice League Movie Release Date and Other News: How will Warner Bros. and DC Comics Tie All the Plots Together? Splitting "The Justice League Movie" into Part One and Part Two
Greg Silverman, who is Warner Bros. Pictures president of creative development and worldwide production, confirmed earlier that a Justice League movie is on the way, with an official release date set for 2017. The movie will be directed by Zack Snyder.
Warner Bros. and DC recently announced their full list of superhero movies between 2016 and 2020. Apparently, the list points out that the Justice League movie will be split into two movies. The first part being on 2017, as stated, and the second part in 2019. Both parts will be directed by Zack Snyder. This will be quite interesting. Usually, movies are split into different 'parts' when it's based on a novel series, like the Twilight Saga or Harry Potter, etc. It is necessary for novel series to split into several movie parts, as it is hardly possible to make a good film adaptation if you squeeze in too much detail in one full-length movie.
The Justice League movie, however, is based on the comics, so how is it going to work for this one?
How will the Justice League characters go about their ways at the end of Part One? Three DC Comics standalone movies are planned in between the first and second parts of the Justice League movie, including The Flash and Aquaman, who are also part of the Justice League. It appears that DC is coming up with an interesting plot to tie up all these movies together.
The movie cast includes Henry Cavill (Superman), Ben Affleck (Batman), Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman), Jason Momoa (Aquaman), Amy Adams (Lois Lane), and Ray Fisher (Cyborg).
