Daft Punk Tour News: Will the Rumored Daft Punk Tour Proceed this Year? Fans from the United States are Still Awaiting for Definite News on the Daft Punk Tour 2014
Early this year there was an announcement of a Daft Punk tour. Fans from around the world were ecstatic by the news of a Daft Punk Tour 2014 after the duo stole the 56th Grammy Awards show winning five awards which includes Album of the Year for their smash hit Random Access Memories.
Part of the announcement was that the popular and phenomenal French duo Daft Punk known for their electronic music will kick off Daft Punk Tour 2014 in their hometown of Paris on July 19 and the last leg of their tour will be in Madison Square Gardens in NY City on November 21.
However, just two months ago, news hit the headlines of the music industry that U.S. fans may have to wait longer for the definite Daft Punk tour dates.
According to Christian Post, "Earlier this year, the duo announced plans for a Daft Punk tour and there were reports that they have been scouting for the ideal venue in South Dakota. They have allegedly set their sights on Devils Tower in Wyoming, however, their proposal was reportedly turned down since holding a concert in the area was said to be not in keeping with the tradition and values of the tribes that are living near the aforementioned location."
If that is the case, will it be a Daft Punk Tour 2015 instead? We are yet to know when Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter will finally take the road.
