Insurgent Release date, Plot Spoilers: Jai Courtney Reveals the Fate of his Character in Upcoming Sequel to Divergent
Insurgent spoilers: Actor Jai Courtney revealed spoilers on the upcoming movie, which will be out in theaters in March 20, 2015.
Asked about what happens to his character, Courtney said, "As in, 'Do I die?' Yes. Yeah there's no spoilers there 'cause it was already written in a different medium, so I'm happy to say that. It's cool, we just wrapped on that the other week."
Courtney plays the role of Eric, a ruthless leader of the Dauntless collaborating with Erudite leader Jeanine, played by Kate Winslet.
Directed by Robert Schwentke, Insurgent the movie is based on the second book of the best-selling Divergent trilogy written by Veronica Roth.
Divergent stars Shailene Woodley and Theo James reprise their roles as Beatrice "Tris" Prior and Tobias "Four" Eaton, respectively in the upcoming Sci-Fi action film.
Joining them are Ray Stevenson, Octavia Spencer, Naomi Watts, Zoe Kravitz, Maggie Q, Miles Teller, Ashley Judd, Suki Waterhouse, Rosa Salazar, Daniel Dae Kim, Jonny Weston, Emjay Anthony, and Keiynan Lonsdale.
The plot picks up where the last movie left off: Tris tries to discover the motive behind the Erudite's insurrection as well as what the Abnegation have kept as a secret for so long.
Tris and Four race to find out what the Abnegation sacrificed their lives to protect, and why the Erudite will stop at nothing to make sure that they don't succeed.
