Samsung Galaxy S6 Release Date, News and Updates: Outstanding Specs For the newest Samsung Flagship; Plus an Earlier Release Date Is Seen

Samsung Galaxy S6 might just be around the corner, hoping it could be released in time for Christmas.

With all the pandemonium that the iPhone 6 had built, Samsung is about to unleash their smartest smartphone soon with the Samsung Galaxy S6. The Galaxy S6 is said to get a brand-new design as well as improved internals.

The Galaxy S6 design might be all metal but with the familiar plastic back, according to Expert Reviews. Considering that this is the newest Samsung flagship, it could be possible that there will be a back change and if that is the case, users will ask if the battery is replaceable. Well, we believe that Samsung has yet to consider this design, but who knows.

The Galaxy S6 specs might be: Super AMOLED screen at a higher resolution with a 4K 3,840x2,160 resolution, 5.2in or 5.3in screen, 20 megapixels rear camera with optical image stabilization to match the Galaxy Note 4, 4K video recording, include several custom shooting modes and effects exclusive to the S6, Android 5 L as OS, Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 or 810 64-bit processor, Qualcomm-powered or Exynos CPUs.

It has been rumored too that the Galaxy S6 release date might be around April of 2015 as this was the trend from the previous Samsung smartphones. The S3 was released in May 2012, the S4 in April 2013 and the S5 in April 2014. Last year the S5 was revealed at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

According to IM Investment and Securities analyst Lee Min-hee, "Samsung's profits in the mobile division will continue to deteriorate during this period of changing their line of smartphones."

"We all know Samsung's third-quarter earnings will be pretty ugly. The earlier release of its new phones could be reflected in its third-quarter earnings, it could give them a slight boost." Added Daishin Securities analyst Claire Kim.
