Sony Xperia Z3 vs Samsung Galaxy S6: Battle of the Flagship Phones
Sony Xperia Z3 vs Samsung Galaxy S6: Battle of the Flagship Phones
Following the recent launching of a new flagship line of products for tech giants such as Apple's iPhone 6 series and Sony's Xperia Z3, many are asking if Samsung is still up to its game.
The Hallels website reports that a new upcoming flagship smartphone is in the process of development by Samsung, the Galaxy S6. Will it be comparable to the Sony Xperia Z3?
In terms of the phones' size of the screen, it's almost a tie. But, the Samsung Galaxy S6 seems to be bigger by a small percentage as it is rumored to sport a 5.3 inch display screen compared to the 5.2 inches of the Sony Xperia Z3, based on GalaxyS60's report.
Both the Samsung Galaxy S6 and the Sony Xperia Z3 are expected to have the latest and best technological features to date, which means that they may pack a stunning 3 GB or maybe even 4 GB of RAM.
A tie breaker for both the smartphones of Samsung and Sony would maybe lie in the phone's camera performance and display quality. The Sony Xperia Z3 is rumored to pack jaw-dropping 20.7 Megapixels rear camera, but only a 2.1 Megapixel camera for the front, while the Samsung Galaxy S6 is expected to include a rear camera within the ranges of 18 to 21 Megapixels with a LED flash and a 4 Megapixel camera for the front. If the Samsung Galaxy S6 would stick with the 21 Megapixels camera, it would certainly win the round.
Also, the Samsung Galaxy S6 might also beat the Sony Xperia Z3 in terms of the display quality. The former will use either the SUPER AMOLED technology or the YOUM display, while an IPS LCD display, which the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 uses, will be used for the Sony Xperia Z3.
In terms of processing power, the Samsung Galaxy S6 will most likely win.
According to Techgyo, the Galaxy S6 will have an unbelievable 12-cored Exynos 6 chipset processor. Compare that to the Sony Xperia Z3's Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 Quad Core processor.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 is expected to use the new Android version, Android Lollipop while the Sony Xperia Z3 will only utilize Android KitKat.
