The Sun newspaper a source said that the trip was cancelled because the singer's team "weren't prepared to take any chances during the incubation period" further adding that the decision has "nothing against her Spanish plans and she was conscious to make sure the visit was put back in the diary in the future".
The decision to cancel this particular stop in the Ariana Grande tour led the singer to detour to Paris instead.
