Among them are: with its 8MP, it has twice more megapixels then One M8's 4MP; at just 129g, it is 31g lighter than One M8's 160g; at just 6.9mm, it is 2.5mm thinner than One M8's 9.4mm; with its 1080 x 60 fps, it has twice the recording quality than One M8's 1080 x 30 fps; with its 3 microphones, it has better sound quality than One M8 which has 2 microphones only; it has a faster photo autofocus due to phase detection autofocus when shooting pictures; at 20nm, it has a smaller semiconductor size than One M8's 28nm, indicating that the process to create the chip is newer; it has fingerprint scanner; it has a higher GeekBench result, an indicator of CPU performance; it has AFP tracking; it supports 64-bit; it is 3.6mm narrower; it has AirPlay which allows wireless connection to other Apple devices; it has a timelapse function; and it is 8.3mm shorter than the HTC One M8.

Its patented touchscreen technologies can also work even with gloves on. In terms of pricing, HTC One M8 retails for $709. 02 while Apple iPhone 6 sells for $809.00 at Amazon.
