Android 5.0 Release Date Samsung Galaxy S5: Featured Updates
When it comes to the battle of smartphones, Google is probably the most preferred option in the entire world. In fact, according to some estimates, there are around 1 billion smartphones running on the Google Android platforms.
Now Google wants to improve what it does with the introduction of the all new Android 5.0 aka Lollipop. This operating system was announced a couple of weeks ago through an official blog post along with Nexus 6 and Nexus 9. Millions of Android users especially those with Samsung Galaxy S5 want to know about its availability, features, and system requirements.
It is believed that Google has already provided the Lollipop version to Samsung, where the engineers will be working on customization fro devices like Galaxy S5. As far as the release date is concerned, users can expect update rollout by November 3. However, neither of the companies has confirmed these reports till now, but experts believe that with in-store availability of new Nexus, Android 5 should be available too.
As for the features, Google has worked on some really interesting features that Samsung Galaxy users will be enjoying in the coming days. Geometric patterns in icons are something to look forward to in the signs for battery, WiFi, cellular network, and so on. In terms of colors, Google Android 5.0 is very alive with youthful contrast and colors. The interface supports fluidic animation and works great on devices like Galaxy S5. It will be interesting to see how Samsung customizes the operating system for its phones.
One of the other striking features is its "tap and go." Often, it is difficult to change the phone and update everything from settings to applications. This option allows users to send everything from one phone to another without hassles. Meanwhile, you can also lock the phone with face recognition settings.
Inspired by iOS, this new operating system will also allow you to work through the notifications even when the screen is locked. Samsung will be working to make it better and is expected to fix bugs and roll out further updates for the coming two years on the platform.
