Into the Woods Movie, Trailer and News: New Feature Trailer and Video Shows a Singing Cast Including Meryl Streep as well as Behind the Scenes Takes and Interviews
We know that the first trailer of Into the Woods shocked everyone because Meryl Streep and Anna Kendrick did not sing at all but wait until you see the new Into the Woods trailer. Living up to the brilliance of Stephen Sondheim's Broadway musical, the featurette shows iconic scenes from the dark fairytale musical such as Jack's beanstalk and Cinderella herself as it starts from the Prologue. It is then followed by 'I Wish' sung by Anna Kendrick, James Corden, Emily Blunt and many others, 'Stay With Me' such by The Witch herself, Meryl Streep.
Though Johnny Depp, who plays The Wolf, wasn't able to show his singing capabilities in the trailer, we still get to see behind the scenes footages and cast interviews on the highly anticipated Broadway musical adaptation. And a glimpse of The Wolf's paw.
But if that slight glimpse wasn't enough for you, wait until you see Entertainment Weekly's Into the Woods cover. Johnny Depp decks his full Wolf looks in the front cover with Little Red Riding Hood, played by Lila Crawford, beside him. Inside contained promotional images of the Into the Woods movie.
Judging from the promotional images, it looks like Into the Woods will be more than fantastical - it's going to be amazing.
Catch the Into the Woods movie in theaters near you on Christmas day.
