Rend Collective Confirms the Release of "Campfire Christmas"

Dove and "Best Live Show" K-LOVE Fan Award-nominated Irish worshippers and modern day psalmists Rend Collective has confirmed that they will release their new album, 'Campfire Christmas Volume 1', on November 18th. Writing on Tweeter, the band confirms: "Finally putting the rumours to rest - #ChristmasCampfire is real! Available worldwide November 18, 2014."
The band have been teasing the news for months, tweeting as long ago as September: "We should probably do a Christmas album huh? "Campfire Christmas" anyone??"
Despite revealing no details about the album's tracklisting, the group did unveil the artwork alongside the announcement - and significantly, by hinting in its title 'Volume 1', they suggest that this will be their first, but not their last, Christmas album.
Rend Collective have never lacked imagination. From the bewildering array of children's toys and whimsical, handmade oddities they call instruments, to the hare-brained and wonderfully impractical scheme of recording a live album on the beach around a campfire, to the safety-defying audacity of shooting a music video on a fully-operational fishing boat in the turbulent Irish Sea, this fascinating worship community have always pursued the colorful and unexpected.
Fittingly, the genre-blurring artists have an unusual backstory. Hailing from the small coastal town of Bangor in Northern Ireland, the Collective developed organically, outside of the influence of the music industry and CCM culture, as a self-described "group of confused twenty-somethings trying to figure out faith, life, God and community."
