Michael W, Smith Sings with Little Big Town "Silent Night" at the CMA Country Christmas (Watch Video Here)

At the recent televised CMA Country Christmas, videotaped shortly after this year's CMA Awards, Michael W. Smith got to sing a number of songs off his brand new "The Spirit of Christmas" CD. One of the duets the Grammy Award Christian winner got to sing was with country group Little Big Town "Silent Night." Now, we get to relive the performance via the video above.
Smith, admitted that when he sat down to do his new holiday album, LBT was at the top of the list.
"There's nobody who sings like them," he says, "and I get to sing with them, which is pretty amazing and great."
Likewise, the country quartet was blown away by the opportunity to work with Smith.
"Oh my, we were starstruck when we walked into the studio," says Kimberly Schlapman. "We are huge, ginormous fans of Michael, forever and ever, and it's an amazing record."
Their five voices added up to to one inspirational, heartwarming and utterly harmonic song, perfect for the holiday. Smith accompanied on the piano, and not a note was out of place. The group ended the song with huge smiles on their faces, and they received a rousing round of applause, making for a not very silent night after their 'Silent Night' performance.
