Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher's Baby Boy Has Arrived

Congratulations are in order to Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher, their baby boy has arrived! Isaiah Michael Fisher was born on Feb. 27.
Underwood shared a photo of the baby boy's tiny hand wrapped in a blanket on her social media profiles on Tuesday (March 3) to announce the good news."Tiny hands and tiny feet...God has blessed us with an amazing gift!" she writes "Welcome to the world, sweet angel!"
Recently Underwood not only scored a #1 hit "Something in the Water" on the country charts, it also logged in at #1 on the Christian chart. The song speaks of a life changed witnessed through the rite of baptism. Underwood later won a Grammy for "Something in the Water."
However, Underwood skipped the 2015 Grammy Awards, held on Feb. 8, where she won Best Country Solo Performance, for "Something in the Water.
"I wish I could go to the Grammys, but travel's kind of out for me at this point. It's tempting, but I can't fly that far away this late in my pregnancy," she said before the big night. "I'll be in my pajamas watching it from the comfort of my couch."
The former American Idol contestant has said previously that she isn't worried about balancing both her family and her career."I know it's possible to be a great mother and to be on the road," she says. "You don't have to sacrifice that much. I see people like Martina [McBride] do it and Faith [Hill] do it. I know it's a possibility. I just maybe need to sit down with them and say, "How DO you do it?'"Congratulations from The Boot to Underwood and Fisher!
