Hip Hop Artist Deraj Releases a New Single & Video "Forgive You Much" (Watch Video Here)
Hip hop artist Deraj has just released his brand new single and video "Forgive You Much." The song is lifted from his EP "Mirrors and Medicine." Here are some of the words of this heartfelt piece:"I got a long list of regrets and some people I disrespect, see I gave you my all, you gave me your second-best, I call that a fail, and I wish I could wish you well, that's why I'm crying this river to fill up a wishing well, and is hard when I can hardly even mention your name, all of the scars were never forgiven... I know sometimes It's hard, to find the words to say, to find the words to say, well its I forgive you, I forgive you much."
"Forgive You Much," by Deraj, takes the listener down the road of forgiveness exposing the candid emotions we all feel when we've been hurt and guides listeners to the place where we can show grace to those who don't deserve it. As the Bible instructs to "forgive as the Lord forgave you," we learn that there is true freedom in forgiving one another.
Deraj has been striving to push the bar of creativity with everything he puts his hands to. As an Orlando-based alternative hip hop artist, producer and multimedia designer, he's known for his eclectic taste, thoughtful & candid lyricism, and unique musical approach exploring through genres including HipHop, Pop, Rock, as well as Indie/Alternative. He showcases a level of humanity, honesty, diversity and creativity not commonly seen in the hip-hop culture today. With each song tailored with its own unique personality, Deraj is bringing forth a new sound into the hip hop community. His recent debut EP release "Mirrors & Medicine" has charted #6 on the iTunes Christian and Gospel charts. If you were to ask him to describe himself he would say, "I'm an average guy with an above average passion for songwriting & visual arts. I love being creative. I love to create things you can 'see' and 'hear'. This is a part of who I am and shows in what I do."
