Colton Dixon Tops the Chart with His Dual EPs Amidst Critical Acclaim

Colton Dixon's dual EPs Calm andStorm released last Friday, catapulting Dixon to the top of the iTunes Christian Albums Chart as Calm took the No. 1 spot. Storm was close behind, landing in the chart's top six albums. The two EPs also combined to create The Calm Before The Storm, available in physical format only.
Dixon told Billboard that he's excited to share sides of his music that haven't been heard before. "I'm so proud of this project," Dixon said. "I've not yet showcased the soft side of what I do, and am honored to have so many producers re-create my songs. Whether you need something easy to listen to or workout music, this is for you."
In addition, the American Idol had recently popped the question to girlfriend Annie Coggeshall in Disney World on Sept. 14.
