MercyMe Tops Billboard's Top Holiday Albums Chart

Every year towards the last quarter of the year, Billboard magazine will release its weekly Top Holiday Albums chart. This year as usual it has returned. And guess who's at #1? MercyMe debuts at No. 1 on the chart with MercyMe It's Christmas!, the act's first leader on the list and second to reach the tally, following 2005's No. 10-peaking The Christmas Sessions. The new set also opens at No. 12 on Top Christian Albums, with 2,000 copies sold in the week ending Oct. 15, according to Nielsen Music.
