13 Year-old Singing Sensation Lexi Walker Releases "Merry Christmas"
Thirteen year-old Lexi Walker has just released her new EP Merry Christmas. Merry Christmas marks the first solo effort by Internet singing phenom Lexi Walker, who came to the attention of many with her compellingly mature performance as Elsa in a One Voice Children's Choir video cover of "Let It Go" from the Pixar film Frozen; it gathered eight-figure views on YouTube within weeks of being posted in early 2014.
The EP offers versions of an eclectic mix of six well-known Christmas songs, including "O Holy Night," Guaraldi-Mendelson's "Christmastime Is Here," and the French carol "Pat-A-Pan." Parents, rejoice or despair: "Let It Go" is included as a bonus track.
Track List
1. When a Child is Born
2. Christmastime is Here
3. It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year
4. O Holy Night
5. Pat A Pan
6. We Need a Little Christmas
7. Let It Go (Bonus Track)
Writing excitedly on her Facebook, Walker says, "Today is the day I get to share my very first album. Feeling very grateful to everyone who helped! Thank you, love you all!"
Lexi's explosive young career has included performances on Good Morning America, The Queen Latifah Show, CBS New York's The Couch, and numerous TV news programs. She has appeared at Carnegie Hall, Radio City Music Hall, the Disney Christmas Day Parade, and Christmas for the Troops at the Kennedy Center. Based in Cottonwood Heights, Utah, she has toured Japan, the East Coast, and looks forward to bringing her music to new audiences both close to home and around the world.
