Maddie and Tae Inspire the Children at Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital with "Fly" (Watch Video Here)

Country music duo Maddie & Tae have released a very special song "Fly." This is an inspirational song that speaks of not allowing our circumstances overwhelm us; rather, in the midst of difficulty, we can always "fly" by God's grace. In accompanying this powerful song, Maddie and Tae have made a special music video for their song "Fly," featuring patients from Nashville's Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt.
The clip shows the country duo interacting with patients at the Music City hospital and the doctors bringing hope and smiles to the entire building. Maddie Marlow and Tae Dye are partnered with the Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital as artist ambassadors for the Shine Bright campaign, a collaboration between the hospital and the Nashville Predators NHL hockey team.
"Seeing the light and joy in the eyes of the patients we were able to sing and play with would brighten anyone's day," Tae Dye says in a press release. "Knowing people find something encouraging in this music is the greatest gift we can be given."
Adds Marlow, "And supporting the Shine Bright campaign, especially interacting with the patients and caregivers at Children's Hospital, has been one of the most rewarding things we've done."
Here are the words to Maddie and Tae's powerful and inspirational song "Fly:"
Baby blue staring in the window pane
Just counting drops of rain
Wondering if she's got the guts to take it
Running down her dreams in a dirty dress,
Now her heart's a mess
Praying she'll find a way to make it
So keep on climbing, though the ground might shake
Just keep on reaching though the limb might break
We've come this far, don't you be scared now
'Cause you can learn to fly on the way down
Searching for a sign in the night even like a lonely string of lights
That'll burn just long enough for you to see it
The road's been long and lonely and you feel like giving up
There's more to this than just the breath you're breathing
So keep on climbing, though the ground might shake
Just keep on reaching though the limb might break
We've come this far, don't you be scared now
'Cause you can learn to fly on the way down
On the way down
You won't forget the heavy steps it took to let it go
Close your eyes, count to ten, hold your breath and fly
Keep on climbing, though the ground might shake
Just keep on reaching though the limb might break
We've come this far, don't you be scared now
'Cause you can learn to fly on the way down
Ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh
