Hillsong UNITED Releases EMPIRES VINYL on July 17

Hillsong UNITED is back on July 17 with EMPIRES vinyl. EMPIRES vinyl is 2-disc LP from Hillsong United's latest studio album, which recently got a nod from Billboard Music Awards 2016 in the category "Top Christian Album". It features the hit "Touch the Sky".

"EMPIRES is the story of two worlds," says Joel Houston. "We wanted to create songs that first seek to listen, then speak the good news of Jesus and His grace into the dichotomy, tension and hopeful-collision of this broken and fragile world we see here and now, and the unshakeable and mysterious reality of the Kingdom we can't see. Our desire has been to simply create the most honest project we could."

The release of EMPIRES followed United's largest growth and international impact. EMPIRES debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard 200 chart, at No. 1 on the Billboard Christian albums chart and No. 2 on the Digital Albums chart. UNITED was featured in Billboard magazine, performed to 10,000 people in New York City for a free concert in Central Park and at Los Angeles' Club Nokia, while also appearing live on The Today Show performing their hit single "Touch The Sky."
