7eventh Time Down Earns First No. 1 Single at NCA With "God Is On The Move"

BEC Recordings' 7eventh Time Down celebrates their first No. 1 radio single on the National Audience Chart with their single "God Is On The Move." The single moved to the top slot with more than a half million audience impression increase and over 10.9 million audience total impressions on the chart."It's hard for me to own having a No. 1 song," shares front man Mikey Howard.
"We come from one of the smallest towns in Kentucky and honestly we probably have no business being No. 1 at anything. So I'll take this opportunity to take the back seat and give God all the honor and glory for this amazingly exciting season for us and our families. He is the one moving and changing lives. I'm just grateful I get to sing about it!"
Talking about the impact of the song, WAY-FM Network PD Rob Wagman states, "Some songs simply connect. Lyrically, spiritually and musically, 7eventh Time Down hit the bullseye."This past weekend 7eventh Time Down participated in the K-LOVE Fan Awards with an artist signing in the Fan Zone as well as the Rising Artist dinner performing the No. 1 single and the radio hit "Just Say Jesus.""I grew up on Christian music. When I was kid I remember standing at a concert with my youth group with my hands stretched towards the sky," explains Howard. "I remember God making me so aware of His presence in that moment that I decided I wanted to help people experience that same God in the same way through music. I've spent my whole life since trying to do that.
Trying to remind people that in spite of the chaos that God is still working and moving and transforming our lives. 'God Is On The Move' was another attempt to do that. My hope was that it would impact lives the way those songs impacted me as a kid: to inspire a new generation to go and preach the gospel and to make disciples - to do what we were made to do - who's with me?"This fall, 7eventh Time Down embark on their "God Is On The Move" headlining tour featuring Audio Adrenaline with special guests John Waller, Young Noah and Shiloh. The tour is presented by Child Fund International and runs September 22 through October 30. For more information, please click here.
