Help Passion's Christy Nockels with Her Upcoming Christmas Album
Worship leader Christy Nockels is currently preparing to release her first ever Christmas album. The Christmas album is the follow-up to Nockels' worship album Let It Be Jesus which peaked at #1 on both the iTunes Christian & Gospel albums charts.
On her website, Nockels writes: "I am so excited to announce that after all these years of making music, I am going to be recording my very first solo Christmas project! I LOVE Christmas and the music of this season of joy and hope. We've been in Christmas mode for several months here at the house as we've been writing these songs, at one point we even pulled out the Christmas Tree to get in the spirit while recording. This record will be full of Christmas spirit, but also deep truths about our savior, his love for us and the reasons we celebrate Christmas in the first place."
You can be a part of this album by donating to its cost. Nockels explains: "In order to make this project a reality for me as an independent artist, we are asking for your help with a music campaign we're launching. This is your chance to be part of the Christmas project!
We wouldn't dream of asking you to be part of something without letting you know the heart and the why behind the what. As always, our desire is to bring a beautiful and artful offering of songs that places our trust and our gaze back in its rightful place, which is Jesus. With the current climate in our culture, there is an abundant need for the people of God to speak the truths of God - His love and His peace - over heartbreaking and fearful days. My family and I are were actually in Orlando on vacation during that horrible weekend in June, and I was once again reminded of the need for our art and our lives to be bearers of hope to a world seeking for something to put their hope in. I've been caught up in the beauty of the story of Jesus these past few months and how his entrance as a baby set the stage for the greatest redemption story of all time.
Here's how you can be a part of funding this record! We've created an expanded pre-order store on our site with a host of christmasy items you can purchase, from the digital download of the record to some other fun presents for that special someone. Purchase any of these items and you'll get to see our progress along the way with a peek behind the scenes at the making of this project and of course, you will be first to hear the new record once it is finished. Would you consider investing in this by pre-ordering the record or checking out the other items we're offering in the pre-order store? And hey...tell your people about this, and help us get the word out. It's Christmas in July and we would love for you and your friends to celebrate and be part of this with us!"
