January 2017 Christian Music Releases

2017 promises to be a great year for Christian music. Starting in January, we have a slew of releases. Husband and wife duo, Grayson|Reed, will release their first project for Centricity Music, "Walk," on January 13. On the same day, American Idol's Danny Gokey releases his much anticipated pop release "Rise," together with a couple of Southern Gospel releases including a "best of" compilation from singer and songer Mark Bishop and the debut album by the Beelers on Horizon Records.
More Southern Gospel music arrive with the Collingsworth Family's instrumental offering "Brooklyn and Courtney." On the same day, rootsy worship duo The Brilliance is declaring that "All Is Not Lost," the title of their inspiring sophomore album. The New York-based duo, comprised of David Gungor and John Arndt. writes songs for both the church and those feeling spiritually homeless. Their goal is to create music that gives voice to the pain and pleasure of the human experience, providing a sonic invitation that welcomes all people to live fully.
Arriving on the same day is Ellie Holcomb's sophomore album, Red Sea Road. This project follows her highly successful debut "As Sure As The Sun," which hit No. 1 its first week on the iTunes' Christian and Amazon Christian charts. "Red Sea Road" celebrates the hope we have in Jesus, and the powerful and personal ways Ellie has seen Him make Red Sea Roads through some of the most heartbreaking times of her life.
