The Isaacs Score 2 GMA Dove Award Nominations

Gospel family group The Isaacs received GMA Dove Award nominations in two categories: "Bluegrass/Country/Roots Recorded Song of the Year" for "Rocks" and "Bluegrass/Country/Roots Album of the Year" for Nature's Symphony in 432. Ben Isaacs is also nominated as a producer on Gaither Vocal Band's album Better Together, up for "Southern Gospel Album of the Year."
"How amazing to be recognized in two categories in Christian music's most prestigious awards!" The Isaacs said. "We penned the song "Rocks" at a time in history when our nation was wallowing in a lot of political mudslinging. We felt a need to remind ourselves that the grace of Jesus is our method and His mercy is our model. The nominated album 'Nature's Symphony in 432' was inspired by the faithfulness of God our Creator through some of the most painful events of our lives. How beautiful to us that this effort to applaud His creation has received Dove Award nominations. Nature can't help but worship Him. If we learn to praise him through our pain, He will always give us peace and purpose for it. Thank you GMA for these affirming nominations."
The Isaacs released Nature's Symphony in 432: A Journey From Pain To Praise on September 2, 2016 on Daywind Records. The album was met with critical praise and received a GRAMMY nomination for "Best Roots Gospel Album." Produced by football legend Terry Bradshaw, the project is recorded in 432 tuning, the frequency which most closely reflects the sounds found in nature, further setting this 15-song collection apart from other recorded albums.
Composed of mother Lily Isaacs and siblings Ben Isaacs, Sonya Isaacs Yeary and Rebecca Isaacs Bowman, The Isaacs have won five GMA Dove Awards throughout their 35-year singing career and have been honored by the International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) and the Inspirational Country Music Awards (ICMAs). They have performed with legends, such as Dolly Parton, Trace Adkins, Brad Paisley, Paul Simon, Vince Gill and many more.
The winners will be revealed at the 48th Annual GMA Dove Awards on October 17, 2017 in Nashville.
