Terri McConnell Earns Five Rhythm of Gospel Music Awards 2018 Nominations

Oklahoma's Terri McConnell is a traditional vocalist whose sincere spirit and love for music and ministry draws people to her and to God she serves. Over the years Terri has received recognition for her dedicated work music ministry. She received two Rhythm of Gospel Music Awards for Traditional Female Vocalist of The Year and has now been nominated for her own record setting five 2018 nominations.
Terri has been nominated for the 2018 Rhythm of Gospel Awards in these five categories: Contemporary Song Of The Year, Gospel Urban/R&P Song Of The Year, Alternative Christian Song Of The Year, Urban Contemporary Artist Of The Year and Traditional Female Vocalist Of The Year.
"Being nominated for the Rhythm of Gospel Music Awards in five categories is awesome! I cannot explain the gratefulness I feel in my heart knowing my music is being enjoyed by others," Terri expresses. "I thank Dr Mark Rogers and the executive board of the Rhythm of Gospel Music Awards for the nominations and for creating this platform for recognizing the work of independent artists."
The Rhythm of Gospel Awards voting is open to the public. Fans can vote online now through March 5, 2018. The 10th Annual Rhythm of Gospel Awards show will be held in Greenville, SC June 20-24.
Earlier this fall, Terri released an all new single "I Thank You Lord". "This song is such a joy to sing and it's a feel good song that makes you want get up and move," Terri shares. "I Thank You Lord has a blues and jazz sound, yet holds on to that traditional flavor. Gospel music is my life and when I can feel it, I know others will feel it through songs like this.""I Thank You Lord" is available on all digital music outlets now.
