Jekalyn Carr Celebrates Three #1's This Week

Top selling independent recording artist Jekalyn Carr currently is celebrating three #1's across Billboard and Mediabase charts this week. Carr's 4th independent release ONE NATION UNDER GOD (Lunjeal/New debuted at #1 on Billboard's Top Gospel Albums and Top Digital Gospel Albums chart this week. This marks her second consecutive Billboard #1 Gospel Album (The Life Project).
The album's lead single "You Will Win," which is produced and written by Carr's father, Allen Carr, spends six consecutive weeks at #1 on Billboard's Gospel National Airplay chart and five weeks at # 1 on Mediabase Gospel Airplay chart this week.
Since its release on September 14, 2017, the Grammy® and Two-Time Billboard Music Award nominated singer's single has also generated 4 million+ streams in less than 6 months. Additionally, Carr has earned eight career #1's within the last two years; two on Mediabase Gospel Airplay charts ("You're Bigger," "You Will Win") and six on Billboard's Top Gospel Album Sales (The Life Project, One Nation Under God), Gospel Airplay ("You're Bigger," "You Will Win") and Digital Song Sale charts ("You're Bigger," "You Will Win").
In support of her book and album, Carr continues to tour the country with concerts, radio interviews and upcoming television appearances in Detroit, Memphis, Nashville, Jackson, MS and Richmond, VA to name a few.

Jekalyn Carr, 20, is an acclaimed award-winning recording artist, musician, motivational speaker, entrepreneur, actress and author. Carr burst on the scene in 2013 and has released three chart-topping independent gospel albums; Greater Is Coming (2013), It's Gonna Happen (2014) and The Life Project (2016). The latter garnered Jekalyn her first Billboard #1 album and #1 single ("You're Bigger"), which also received GRAMMY, Billboard Music, Stellar and Dove Award nominations.
