Reba McEntire Offers Powerful Prayer for National Day of Prayer

Country music superstar Reba McEntire celebrates National Day of Prayer by offering a powerful prayer herself on social media. The singer, who recently scored a #1 Christian album with her lastest Sing It Now: Songs of Faith & Hope, prays not only for herself and our leaders, but also our enemies.
McEntire prays:
Heavenly Father, I pray for peace, joy, health and wisdom for my family, friends, our nation and our leaders. I pray that you heal the heart of our enemies. Give them peace and happiness. I pray for forgiveness for our sins and those of our enemies. I pray for God's will, not my will. I pray for God's way, not my way. Thank you Lord for your love. I love you with all my heart, soul, mind and strength.
In Jesus name I pray,
Amen.
McEntire has made no secret of her deep-seated faith. She released a song titled "Pray for Peace" in 2015, and included it on her Love Somebody album. She followed that up with Sing It Now: Songs of Faith & Hope, a double album comprising partly traditional hymns and partly new gospel songs, including the single "Back to God."
Sing It Now: Songs of Faith & Hope took home Best Roots Gospel Album at the 2018 Grammy Awards in January.
