City RockFest Tour Wraps Spring Tour

Christian music's premier multi-artist rock outing, the City RockFest Tour, recently wrapped its 24-city spring run. Headlined by Dove Award-winning Disciple, the third annual tour featured Seventh Day Slumber, Wolves at the Gate, Spoken, As We Ascend, Random Hero and The Protest. Presented by ChildFund International, nearly 300 children were sponsored during the tour.
Founded and hosted by Dove Award-winning genre leaders Seventh Day Slumber, the tour visited Spokane, Washington; Abilene, Texas; Columbia, Maryland; Jacksonville, Florida; and Fairfield, California, among other cities, before concluding May 18 in Evansville, Indiana. Each year the City RockFest Tour draws legions of devoted fans around the country with a lineup featuring many of Christian rock's top names.
"This tour has been amazing," said City RockFest founder and Seventh Day Slumber frontman Joseph Rojas. "We love these bands so much, and it was humbling to witness them interact with their fans and love on people each night. I believe the efforts of all those involved will echo into eternity."
"We heard many stories of teens who were on the verge of suicide, but instead chose to give their hearts to Christ," Rojas adds. "Lives were changed for Jesus during the tour, and that's what it's all about."
Seventh Day Slumber is set to headline the upcoming Summer RockFest Tour. Kicking off July 12 at Oshkosh, Wisconsin's Lifest, the tour will feature Spoken; Random Hero; Gold, Frankincense & Myrrh; Amongst the Giants; and Zahna. The Summer RockFest Tour will hit Colorado Springs, Colorado; Aztec, New Mexico; Carthage, New York and Somerset, Pennsylvania, among numerous other cities.
A consistent force on Christian CHR and rock radio, Dove Award-winning Seventh Day Slumber has sold a combined total of nearly 500,000 units to date, landing two Billboard #1 albums, five #1 singles and 14 Top 10 hits in a career spanning 20 years. Comprised of Joseph Rojas (lead vocals/guitar), Jeremy Holderfield (guitar), Blaise Rojas (drums) and Ken Reed (bass), the band's signature songs include "Oceans From The Rain," "Inside Out," "Caroline," "Finally Awake" and "Wasted Life." Their 2017 album release, Found, debuted at #25 on Billboard's Heatseekers Albums chart and #3 on Nielsen Christian SoundScan's Rock/Alternative chart.
