Bethel Music's Amanda Lindsey Cook Releases New Single "Still"

Bethel Music's Amanda Lindsey Cook has released her new single "Still." The new song is based on Psalm 46 which says, "Be still and know I am God." A Psalm written by King David during a chaotic time when trusting God was a choice he had to make. When faced with fear, Cook teaches us to surrender and lift our fears to God-rather than trying to extinguish them herself-and watch them fall into perfect peace.
Through her song "Still," Cook brings us back to the peace of God that is always present and accessible in every situation, no matter how hopeless we may feel.
I lift every fear to the heavens/Watch them disappear in your presence/One by one they fall into perfect peace/ You know everything yet you listen/ Through my anxious thoughts with compassion/One by one they fall into perfect peace
