For All Seasons Release New Single, "Life In Your Love"
Centricity Music pop-worship band For All Seasons began 2019 with a big idea: release more than music. True to their name, the trio decided to explore themes of various life seasons and then craft a variety of content about those themes to engage with listeners. With today's new song release "Life In Your Love," they have surpassed the halfway point of the project and have found it to be more impactful and rewarding than imagined.
For All Seasons' "More Than Music" year has resulted in new digital singles each month about faith-related themes, such as friendship, loneliness, seeing God's work, and doubting. Throughout the month, they follow each song with a music video, two podcast episodes, and an online Q&A with listeners, building a community of conversation about each song and idea.
"It's been quite the undertaking to produce this much content every month, but we love the opportunity it's given us to add value to our art and engage with fans on an entirely new level," band member Jeff Luckey said. "Each track becomes so much more than a song, it becomes a conversation, part of people's stories. If we're honest, every one of us has gone through these seasons we're covering, and my favorite part of this project is getting to see how God uses what we've been through to impact people who may be going through that same season right now. Our hope is that whether it's through a song, blog, podcast, or video, that our vulnerability creates a space for people to open up as well."
This unique release template has also allowed the band to explore a variety of sonic directions with each song. Listeners have enjoyed a range from the upbeat pop "Every Good Thing," the powerful, sweeping "Light and Momentary," to the mellow and vibey"Speak To Me." Today's track "Life In Your Love" discusses feeling near to God and showcases the group's unique pop-rock DNA. The band has received encouragement for the authenticity and honesty in their songwriting:
"It is good for such a band like For All Seasons to tackle such topics [like loneliness] that sadly aren't discussed that much within Contemporary Christian music, as a whole...If the next songs continue to go the route of these, then this new collection, when it culminates at the end of the year, is going to be one of 2019's best."
