Alabama's Randy Owen Calls for Prayers as More Shows are Cancelled

Iconic country group ALABAMA are calling for fans to pray for lead singer Randy Owen. Owen is currently being treated for vertigo and migraines. Alabama have canceled two more upcoming shows due to lead singer Randy Owen's health ailments. This includes shows this weekend at the Columbus Civic Center in Columbus, Ga., on Friday (July 26) and Thunder Valley Ampitheatre in Bristol, Tenn., on Saturday (July 27).
In addition, they have had already cancelled shows on July 19 and 20 at the TD Place Stadium in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada and the Big Sky Music Festival in Oro-Medonte, Ontario, Canada, respectively.
"Randy Owen has been advised by doctors that he can not perform this weekend as he continues treatment for vertigo and migraines. We apologize for any inconvenience for those that have tickets to these shows, but wish to reassure fans that Alabama is trying to reschedule these shows as soon as possible," Conway Entertainment Group, Alabama's management company, shares in a statement.
The trio of Owen, Teddy Gentry and Jeff Cook is currently on the 50th Anniversary Tour that launched in January 2019 and is scheduled to run through the rest of the year. It's meant to be a celebration of a five-decade career that includes genre-defining hits like "Mountain Music," "Dixieland Delight," "Song of the South" and more.
