'Twilight' Star Kristen Stewart New Movie 2014 'Clouds of Sils Maria' Releases Trailer, Watch Here (VIDEO)
Twilight star Kristen Stewart has been working on a new international film titled Clouds of Sils Maria and a new trailer has just been released (which you can watch above).
The 24-year-old actress will be co-starring with Chloe Moretz and Juliette Binoche for the upcoming film which was written and directed by Olivier Assayas.
Plot: Maria Enders (Binoche) has a successful acting career and a loyal assistant Valentine (Stewart) but when a young actress (Moretz) interprets a role in a new movie - the same role which made Enders famous - her world starts to crumble. Haunted by her past life, she withdraws herself along with her assistant to the Swiss town of Sils Maria.
Clouds of Sils Maria premiered at Cannes Film Festival in May. The film mostly positive reviews but one critic in Cannes saying the film "threads through the peaks and valleys of weighty, interesting topics, but makes no lasting impression on them."
The upcoming movie has no US release date, however, IFC Films plans to release it in theaters later this year.
Filming of Clouds of Sils Maria began in the mid-August 2013. Shooting ended on October 7th, 2013. The film shot on location in the titular town of Sils Maria, Switzerland as well as Zurich, Leipzig, Germany and South Tyrol, Italy. Chanel debuted in film financing and supplied the actresses with clothes, jewelry, accessories and makeup, while also providing some of the budget to allow Olivier Assayas to fulfill his dream of shooting a movie on 35-mm film instead of digitally.
The international title of the film is "Clouds of Sils Maria," but in France the film is known by the original name, "Sils Maria."
