Resident Evil: The Final Chapter Movie Spoiler, Alice and Team Goes to the Hive to Defeat the Red Queen
Resident Evil is finally reaching its end point to its fans as the action/thriller video game-turned-movie finally comes into full circle.
Resident Evil: The Final Chapter is the working title of the sixth and final movie to be released next year and will have Mila Jovovich reprise the role of protagonist and femme fatale Alice, Michelle Rodiriguez as Rain Ocampo, Li Bingbing as fan favorite Ada Wong and a lot of other cast members from previous installments. The story will revolve around Alice and her team and their mission to the Hive to stop the Red Queen from annihilating all of mankind. Fans may as well speculate that the final film will begin with the closing scenes from Retribution.
It was revealed that the film is intended to be released in 3D and will be directed by Paul Anderson. Currently the film is still in pre-production and there have been no confirmed set dates to its shooting. Originally the film was slated to be made earlier this year however, the unfinished script and other commitments made by Jovovich and Anderson made Sony and Screen Gem push the film to a 2015 release. Do you smell a Resident Evil reboot in the near future? So far, details like that are still blurry but who knows? It seems to be clear that Anderson is ready to finally wrap up this franchise with a huge bow on top.
Whether it will be more badass fight scenes courtesy of Jovovich or spectacular effects with a decent storyline and pacing, one thing is for sure: Resident Evil is certainly going out with a bang.
