Sam and Christin Hart Win Songwriter of the Year Honors at the ChristianSongwriting.com Competition

Husband and wife duo Sam and Christin Hart have earned Songwriter of the Year honors in the 17th annual ChristianSongwriting.com competition. The contest, sponsored by CM United, is the longest-running Christian songwriting contest in existence. The couple were selected for the song "Loved," which they wrote and recorded. A lyric video for the single is available on YouTube. The website for Sam and Christin is samandchristin.com.
A judging panel consisting of Chrissy Conway-Katina, singer/songwriter of ZoeGirl; John Katina, singer/songwriter, lead singer of The Katinas; John Schlitt, singer/songwriter, legendary vocalist for Petra; and Tammy Trent, singer/songwriter, recording artist, awarded the top honor to the Harts.
In addition to the title, winning the competition earns the Harts numerous prizes and opportunities, including one of the duo's songs being released to radio internationally by A-Sides Radio Promotion as well as PR services by INOV8 PR. Visit this link for a complete list of prizes.
Each year, the ChristianSongwriting.com contest names quarterly winners, with all first place quarterly winners becoming eligible to be named the annual songwriter of the year.
