Reese Witherspoon Stars in New Movie 'Wild' a Heroin Addict Releasing 2014, Watch NEW Trailer Here (VIDEO)
Reese Witherspoon stars in the upcoming drama movie Wild where she plays heroin addict, Cheryl Strayed, as she takes a 1,100-mile solo hike to come to grips with her past and do a lot of self searching. You can check out the newly released trailer above.
The Wild movie is based on the memoir by the real life Cheryl Stayed titled Wild: From Lost to Found on the Pacific Crest Trail. The film was directed by Jean-Marc Vallée and from screenwriter Nick Hornby.
The 38-year-old Witherspoon stars alongside Thomas Sadoski, Michiel Huisman, W. Earl Brown, Gaby Hoffman, Kevin Rankin, Laura Dern and Keene McRae. Film began in October 2013 in Oregon.
Plot Summary: With the dissolution of her marriage and the death of her mother, Cheryl Strayed has lost all hope. After years of reckless, destructive behavior, she makes a rash decision. With absolutely no experience, driven only by sheer determination, Cheryl hikes more than a thousand miles of the Pacific Crest Trail, alone. WILD powerfully captures the terrors and pleasures of one young woman forging ahead against all odds on a journey that maddens, strengthens, and ultimately heals her.

Wild is set to be released from Fox Searchlight Pictures in limited release on December 5th.
