GAWVI Launches ‘The New Normal’ Video/Podcast Series

Coming off the successful release of his third studio album Heathen, that debuted at No. 1 on iTunes Christian Albums Chart last week, Reach Records six-time Dove Award-winning artist & producer GAWVI, has announced the launch of The New Normal, a video and podcast series. This weekly series features conversations between the Grammy-nominated producer and other artists and influencers within the Christian music and church space, about the change they would like to see and be in Christian culture.
Each episode will premiere on GAWVI's YouTube Channel on Thursdays starting at 12pm ET and will soon be available on DSP's in the near future.
To kick off the series, GAWVI welcomed Israel Houghton to The New Normal where they got raw and honest about their experiences within the faith-space with the second conversation lead with hip hop artist and activist Propaganda.
Inspired by the making of Heathen and the response from fans about the project, GAWVI wants to continue to connect with his listeners through authenticity and transparency. While his new album nudges Christian listeners to examine how standards of acceptability may be limiting new voices from communicating God's grace to a world in need of home, GAWVI hopes to open up this dialogue further to share experiences, culture, viewpoints, frustrations and more to show others they are not alone and together through using our voices, we can be the voice for change and acceptance.
