Lincoln Brewster Writes a Heartfelt Letter to Fans & Releases Quarantine Version of "While I Wait"

Lincoln Brewster recently shared a heart-felt letter of encouragement to fans along with the release of a new music video for his song, "While I Wait."
I so dearly wish that I was writing this under different circumstances, but the truth is that we are where we are. It's also true that we are not alone. Even though it may feel that way and many of you may be physically alone, the truth is that God is always holding you, even when it doesn't feel like it.
We are in unprecedented times in the history of our world and at times, for me personally, it feels surreal. If you're anything like me, often it's not what you're going through that hurts the most but the unknowns that lie on the other side...and most of all, the waiting. I've spent so many hours of my life toiling during the waiting, fighting it, resisting it, dreading it, all to no avail.
A few years back I had such a profound epiphany. I felt so strongly that God was saying "make good use of the waiting." Honestly, I'm still not very good at it but it gave me a new target for tough and uncertain times. I thought to myself, "What better thing to do in a time of difficulty or uncertainty than to worship the One who holds it all?"
I wrote this song, titled "While I Wait," from a place of personal experience with a dear from of mine. We shared such special moments during its creation, tears, healing, trust and yes, worship. I sincerely hope that as you listen and watch, that the One who made you will reveal Himself to you in a new way during this season, that you would know beyond all doubt that He sees you, He sees your hurt, your fears, your loneliness, your worries and He cares and is with you always. Please know that this WILL pass and you WILL get through it.
Lord, I pray that You would bring Your peace that goes far beyond all understanding, bright hope for better days, and let Your love pour out to the one who is reading these words, even now.
Much love and many blessings,
Lincoln Brewster
