Samsung's Galaxy Note 3 Smartphone Pushing the Limits: Specs, Reviews and Comments
Over the years Samsung have proven to be one of the very best when it comes to Android phones with the production of one great model to another.
The key features of the Samsung note 3 phone include Android 4.3 with TouchWiz; 13-megapixel main camera with LED flash, 32GB internal memory with microSD slot; Snapdragon 800 2.3GHz CPU, 5.7-inch 1080p Super AMOLED screen. This phone offers a lot for all android lovers.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is an android phone that was revealed to the world on September 4th 2013 at the IFA Berlin by Samsung Electronics Company. It was later released to the world a month later after the launch in Berlin. This phone serves as the Note II Predecessor with the Note 3 being given a lighter design than the Note II. It has more upscale design with a plastic leather backing.
As for the design the Samsung Note 3 is a large phone, however this does not mean that you will feel awkward putting it on your ears since the phone provides style and class too. It is narrower than the Galaxy Note II that's for sure making it really sleek and with a very elegant design. It has a larger display that is 5.7 inches and is also 8 cm wide. The screen being increased has not had any negative effects on the body frame all the same. The screen still has a core screen technology that uses a super AMOLED display of 1080p resolution. The Note 3 uses a Pen-Tile diamond display with the sub-pixel being arranged into a diamond shape. Due to its 396ppi pixel density using the pen does not make the texts look vague this is because the pixel density is high enough to handle it.
Its OLED screen contrast and black levels are brilliant as for the colors I can't say they are that perfect though. The menu setting lets you pick between Dynamic Stand Professional Photo and Movie screen modes. They both have something to offer and it depends with you taste, personally I think the Dynamic one is really ugly but then again as I said it all depends with your taste. The AMOLED panel is also excellent with the most exciting part about this screen being the digitizer layer which you can see but only once you let the S Pen stylus work.
As for the body the Note 3 does not have a glossy rear plastic cover with the battery cover having a look and feel like that of leather. This cover is made from a rubber like substance that gives a leather effect feeling.
The sides of the phone also are grooved chrome effects that are plastic with metallic looks. The ribbon is seen on the S pen also which has been slotted at the bottom edge of the phone.
However, the Note 3 has not received any drastic changes. It has more of the last models features than new ones. There is a new connector socket at the bottom that looks like a micro USB slot. It however has the first USB 3.0 compliant socket that increases the rate at which recharging takes place through the USB socket.
The Note 3 has 32GB of internal memory with it charging faster from a working laptop. I think that this is really nice, who doesn't want a phone that charges faster?
All in all this is an awesome phone and one you can definitely be proud to own. Let's wait and see what Samsung will offer us next.
