“House of Cards Season 3 Spoilers; Frank is Finally in the Oval Office, What Now?”

Kevin Spacey plays the role of the ex chief whip and vice-president; Frank Underwood. He was a democrat in the series and has exercised both ruthlessness and some would say an exponential level of control and planning to land him in the Oval Office without a single vote, by the way. House of Cards fans are dying to see what is next after the climactic finish in season two when he was sworn into office. However, most of the spoilers on the latest installment of the series are currently just based on conjecture from some of the lead roles and the show runner Beau Willimon.
House of cards is currently shooting and is slated to premiere on an early 2015 date, probably January. The show has always been about the rise and rise of Frank Underwood who went from being the chief whip to the president. Along the way, he offed a few people and generally did a few things that had people gasping at the level of manipulation and complete evil prowess. Right now he has real power and that will be something to see; a Frank Underwood with access to nuclear triggers-Jesus! On the other hand, part of the fuel that made the show so good is the fact that there was another goal to rise toward. He is at the top and that means nowhere to go; pope maybe? But anyway, the show might start to exploit other ends. Obviously Frank will continue his tête-à-tête with the camera and have more juicy metaphors and phrases which make the show all the more enjoyable.
Kate Mara stated in an interview that she would love to come back as Zoe, or a different character or a ghost. The second option is unlikely as House of Cards has never gone the supernatural way, at least not yet. Similarly, we might see guest appearances from Potus, yes Obama might appear on the show; I mean Michelle is rumored to be appearing in 'Recreation and Park'. Another thing is that Doug may not be dead. The show did give the inclination within the last thirty minutes that he was killed by Rachel but that may not be the case. The show will also explore a deeper and darker side to Claire being the wife of the 'Devil'. One thing you can be sure of is that House of Cards is here to stay and there will probably be a fourth and possibly fifth season; at least Kevin Spacey hopes so.
