Physician and Worship Leader Pelumi Akintade Releases "Beautiful Grace" EP

Manchester based physician musician Pelumi Akintade is the ultimate creative. A naturally gifted self-taught multi-instrumentalist singer-songwriter, he has an incredible knack of crafting songs that reflect both musical versatility and lyrical depth.
His new EP, titled 'Beautiful Grace', is available now on all the main streaming platforms. The eagerly awaited project produced by Dan Stirling (Rivers & Robots, Chris Sayburn) and mastered by Pete Maher (U2, Katy Perry) will surely please many a musical ear.
The first single and title track, 'Beautiful Grace', is an uplifting sensitive track, it was written to tell his story of finding hope in the midst of life's turmoil, injustice, loss, pain. Incidentally, the song was written in Manchester in 2017, coinciding with the memorable bombing, and later recorded in 2020 the year of unprecedented change around the globe triggered by the coronavirus crisis and the brutal killing of George Floyd.
Pelumi has led sung worship at various churches and university Christian Unions. He has also played at Greenbelt, the Christian festival, and has shared a stage with KT Tunstall for a charity fundraising concert for Brazilian street children. A self-taught and capable musician, he is comfortable playing with classically trained musicians too. He organised an eclectic band for a successful Cancer Research UK fundraiser event at the Centre for Life in Newcastle for which he rearranged contemporary pop songs when he was a medical student there.
