iPad Air Refresh: Will It Offer Enough New Features To Be Labelled a Refresh
iPad Air Refresh: Will It Offer Enough New Features To Be Labelled a Refresh
The new iPad Air is set to be released soon. Rumor has it that it will not surprise us with its features. It only has an improved Apple A8 processor and it will be supported by the Touch ID, the finger print scanning Home Button.
With this two new products we assume that there will be more resources allocated to them. Apparently this will affect the production of the new iPad mini hence the chances of the mini pad 2HI4 debuting are very slim. The iPad product of the 2H14 will only be upgraded in the iPad Air which are the predictions on my part.
Now, due to the fact that the iPad Air was a big departure from what came before it, this prefigured a new design, lighter overall weight and improved internal components. With this the iPad Air will almost look the same as its predecessor which is quite sad since we all expect freshness when a new product is launched. With the only changes being introduced like the TouchID and the A8 processor we feel that it's not much considering the fact that this is a new product.
As for the Design the images of the new dummy show that there are no major changes with all the dimensions, design, ports and buttons. They all seem to be in the exact same places. The home keys at the bottom bezel look like the Touch ID that will be making the jump from iPhone 5s to the new iPad Air 2.
The dummy does prove that the rumors about the Touch ID will definitely be on the new iPad Air 2. With all buttons being in their normal places with the rocker on the side we realize that the lock key is missing though. Something else that is big when it comes to changes is a small microphone next to the camera. Apart from that there isn't much change on the design. We however do feel that the iPad Air is one of the best tablet device to hit the market. That is why even though it does not have too much changes we are sure that it will still be bought by iPad fans. It's lightweight, thin and the way it is beautifully crafted makes it the ideal slate for users around the house or even for those who are traveling
The other changes that might be seen will be a new CPU, more RAM and the implementation of the Touch ID as well as the new Apple iOS 8 software.
We do hope that Apple will add more to it, all the same we will see what the iPad Air has to offer when it is released.
