2020 Billboard Music Awards Nominees Announced
The nominees have been announced for tis year's 2020 Billboard Music Awards. Kelly Clarkson will return as host for the 2020 Billboard Music Awards, which will broadcast live from The Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on October 14th at 8pm ET on NBC.
This year's awards are based on the chart period of March 23, 2019 through March 14, 2020, which was intended the originally scheduled April 29, 2020 show, postponed due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
Kanye West's Jesus Is King album allows him to grab nine nominations in Christian categories including top Christian artist, top gospel artist, top Christian album, top gospel album and top Christian song. West also competes against himself for top gospel song, in which "Closed on Sunday," "Follow God," "On God" and "Selah" are all nominated.
