Kate Hudson New Movie 'Wish I Was Here' Release Date 2014, Watch Interview with Hudson and Writer/Co-Star Zach Braff Here (VIDEO)
The new movie Wish I Was Here stars Zach Braff and Kate Hudson and above you can watch a sit-down interview with Bonnie Laufer with the two stars sharing about the new film.
Zach Braff and his brother Adam wrote the script for the movie and Zach directs and stars, same as they did with Garden State in 2004. Wish I Was Here is a dramatic comedy, it tells "a funny, touching, universal story of what it means to be at a major crossroads as a parent, spouse, and child -- all at once." Braff plays Aidan Bloom, a struggling actor, father, and husband is trying to find the purpose of his life at the age of 35.
Along with Hudson and Braff, the film also stars Kate Hudson, Joey King, Jim Parsons, Josh Gad and Mandy Patinkin. Wish I Was Here released in New York and L.A. on July 18th. The film will then expand to more theaters across the U.S. on July 25 and again on August 1st.
"I thought it was extremely relevant to right now...Women who are sometimes the breadwinner or women who have real working lives and men who are now realizing that the dynamic of the family roles has changed just since the baby boomer generation," the 35-year-old actress Hudson shared with CBS News about her new movie Wish I Was Here.
"The fact that I've related to his creation sort of reinforced why we have become so close over the years," Kate added. "My response to [the script] was actually quite emotional."
